Ah yes, here we go again with another maternity session, this time at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park! Picture this: the crisp Florida breeze, a hint of anticipation in the air, and a perfect mom-to-be, Melanie, posing and glowing at the state park.

Hailing from Michigan, Melanie sought a change of scenery for her pregnancy journey. So, off to Florida she went, staying with friends while her significant other teed off in a local golf tournament. And guess what? That’s when she decided it was the perfect time for a maternity photoshoot, landing us in the absolutely stunning Washington Oaks Gardens State Park. Through word of mouth, Melanie found my page, and together we created absolute magic! Because of the park’s various scenery, we blended beach vibes with garden enchantment at every click of the camera!

Now, let’s talk about Mia James—Melanie’s one and only (for now)! The sheer joy and excitement for this precious baby girl practically leaped out of every photograph. Picture us strolling through the park, Melanie reflecting on her journey through pregnancy. Melanie shared that at five months pregnant, the girls were in a car accident. The first time she felt Mia kick, later that evening, was an early testament to her daughter’s unstoppable resilience. Even an accident could not dull her sparkle!

While capturing these breathtaking images at Washington Oaks Gardens, Melanie shared the story of Mia James’ gender reveal. At a golf club, surrounded by lush greenery, a ball spilled the long-awaited news—pink for a baby girl! With both Melanie and her significant other being out-of-staters, they turned the celebration up a notch with not one, not two, but three baby showers. Talk about spreading the love!

As the session at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park wrapped up, Melanie’s focus shifted to showering Mia James with as much love as humanly possible. The photographs didn’t just capture a pregnancy journey; they were a vibrant testament to the strength, love, and sheer joy awaiting their family. This day inspired me beyond belief.
