Summer on the University of Florida campus brings a slower pace. However, it also creates space to reflect on meaningful accomplishments. This UF grad session took place on a soft, overcast afternoon. Because the skies were calm, the light felt gentle and flattering. As a result, the session felt relaxed and effortless from start to finish.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications and Education. From the very beginning, this path felt like the right choice. Growing up in the agricultural industry shaped her passions early on. Because of that background, sharing the story of agriculture has always mattered deeply to her. In addition, she values helping others understand where their food comes from. This major allowed her to advocate for an industry that shaped her life.
During her time at the University of Florida, she stayed actively involved on campus. For example, she was a member of UF Block and Bridle, Gator Collegiate Cattlewomen, and the UF Honors Society. Through these organizations, she developed strong leadership skills. Additionally, she built meaningful connections with peers who shared her values. One of her proudest experiences came from using those leadership roles to share what agriculture means to her and others.
Her academic achievements were equally impressive. Throughout college, she maintained a 4.0 GPA. Moreover, she graduated a year and a half early. This accomplishment reflects her dedication and focus. As a result, her hard work stood out in every area of her academic journey.
After graduation, she plans to continue growing her photography business. At the same time, she will pursue a Juris Master’s degree. This next step allows her to combine creative storytelling with legal knowledge. Ultimately, her goal is to support the agricultural industry in new and meaningful ways.
When asked what helped her most during college, she credited her family and fiancé. Without their support, the journey would have looked very different. As she shared, “It takes a village.” Because of her passionate, calm, and collected nature, this UF grad session was effortless to photograph. In the end, it beautifully captured the transition into an exciting new season of life.
