Florida is surrounded by breathtaking oceans and filled with amazing bodies of freshwater. If you are lucky enough to call Florida your home, chances are you often spend countless days in the water. The Foote family definitely relates to this living on Black Creek!

When Felisha reached out to book their family session, we talked about different location options. Ultimately, we decided to do family portraits on their own property. Recently, the Footes moved into their dream home with stunning waterfront views! Felisha and Chris have been together for 15 years and have been working towards buying this gorgeous house for a long time.

The Foote family of five never experience a dull moment. Often, they find themselves bouncing between busy work schedules, baseball games, and cheer competitions! I loved watching them slow down for a one-hour family session and take a boat ride down Black Creek. The Footes shared, they love spending time together as a family, taking their boat for a ride down the creek. Ultimately, incorporating this into their session was the best idea ever! When the Footes are not boating, you can find them going on a weekend camping trip, or swimming in their pool. This sweet boat ride session has to be my favorite family experience to date.

Fun Fact, I used to work for Felisha when I did insurance for Allstate back in 2017. We would go to dinner, enjoy escape rooms, and she took me on my first ever cruise out of the country! I spent long nights at her old house studying for a big test and eating homemade chocolate chip cookies. Actually, Felisha and Chris came to my wedding when my husband and I got married. I can remember going to their daughter’s first birthday party. Now she is 5!
