Graduating with a doctorate is a huge achievement and this spring University of Jacksonville grad session was the perfect way to celebrate it. Casey’s Session took place in the heart of downtown Jacksonville surrounded by tall columns, warm light, and that unmistakable spring glow.

She arrived in a crisp white dress and her black velvet doctoral gown. The look was complete with Jacksonville University’s signature teal hood and tassel. The classic downtown architecture gave her photos an elegant, timeless feel, exactly what you want when capturing a meaningful milestone. From tossing flower petals to walking confidently between columns, her joy and pride came through in every frame.

A Journey Worth Celebrating

Casey earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Jacksonville. She chose OT because of her passion for helping others live full, independent lives. On campus, she joined several campus organizations, including the Student Occupational Therapy Organization, Pi Theta Epsilon, and the Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity. She worked hard, held herself to high standards, and experienced personal growth she’s proud of.

One of the most touching parts of the session was photographing her with her fiancé. His support meant everything to her during grad school. Their connection added a meaningful energy to the session. Whether they were walking hand-in-hand or sharing a quiet laugh, their moments together made the day feel even more special.

Since graduating in 2023, Casey has started a career she loves. She’s also traveled to visit family and bought a home. Her journey is a beautiful reminder that every step, especially the hard ones, leads to something worth celebrating.
