Celebrating a Coastal UNF Grad Session

Graduation looks different for everyone, and Hannah’s grad session was a true reflection of her journey at UNF. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Coastal Biology. Because of her lifelong love for the ocean, her degree felt like a natural extension of who she is.

From the very beginning, this session felt deeply personal. Hannah’s college journey was long and challenging. Even so, it was incredibly meaningful. Because of that, celebrating this milestone carried even more weight.

The Heart of Her UNF Experience

To begin, we started Hannah’s UNF grad session on campus, surrounded by the spaces that shaped her college years. Wearing crisp whites with her cap and gown, she brought a quiet confidence to every moment. At the same time, the campus felt calm and familiar, making it the perfect place to start.

Throughout college, Hannah stayed focused and determined. Even on the hardest days, she continued pushing forward. As a result, that strength showed through effortlessly during her session.

From Campus to Coast

After capturing her campus portraits, we made our way to Jacksonville Beach. Naturally, the shift in scenery felt seamless. After all, the ocean has always been a huge part of Hannah’s life.

As a member of the UNF Surf Club and Team, surfing wasn’t just a hobby. Instead, it was a constant. Stepping onto the sand with her surfboard felt like stepping into her element. Because of this, pairing her cap and gown with the ocean breeze told her story in the most authentic way.

A Surf-Inspired UNF Graduation Session

Once we reached the beach, the session became playful and free. Hannah walked along the shoreline with her surfboard as waves rolled in beside her. Between moments, she laughed, splashed in the water, and soaked it all in.

Even more impressively, Hannah competed twice in California at the College Nationals surfing competition. Because of that experience, her confidence in the water was undeniable. Together, her athletic achievements and academic success spoke volumes about her resilience.

What’s Next For This UNF Grad

After graduation, Hannah hopes to attend grad school and build a career in marine and coastal biology. At the same time, she plans to keep chasing adventure. No matter where her path leads, the ocean will always be part of her story.

Ultimately, this UNF grad session was more than just photos. Instead, it was a celebration of perseverance, passion, and possibility.

Hannah, congratulations on this incredible milestone. Without a doubt, your journey, strength, and love for the coast made this session unforgettable.
