Caitlynne and Tristen’s relationship began when she swiped right. Meeting on a dating app in today’s day and age is more common than you think! The two of them hit it off immediately when they started talking to one another. Right away, they enjoyed each others vibe, and planned their first official date. They met at Chick-Fil-A in their small college town and talked for hours, long after their chicken and fries were gone. Caitlynne and Tristen instantly knew they were the one they both had been waiting patiently to meet.
Almost Exactly 2 and a half years later, Tristen planned an outing in Downtown Tifton, Georgia to pop the big question. Caitlynne nearly ruined the surprise when she realized what was going on, earlier in the day. But, after a long build-up to the special moment, Tristen dropped down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Well thought out, his proposal included their pets, near futures, and life goals. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, she said yes and the wedding planing began!
Caitlynne works as the brand manager for Rolling Branch Farms, an absolutely gorgeous farm with an orange grove, pecan trees, and a field full of beautiful flowers. This adorable family farm in Naylor, Georgia is the perfect location for the couple’s engagement shoot! The bright fruit on the trees and the ladybugs sneaking their way into every shot is something that I will always remember. Also, if you have never ordered produce straight from a small family farm before, you are missing out! I picked up a box of oranges to take home and they were so fresh and juicy. My family ate the entire box within 24 hours after their engagement shoot!
If how much thought Caitlynne put into planning this orange grove engagement session is any example of what their wedding will look like, I am SO EXCITED!!! Caitlynne and Tristen put so much care into every inch of this session, which made my job so easy. It helps tremendously when couples have a clear, but flexible vision for their shoots–like these two did! Caitlynne told me that they both love spending time together thrifting and shopping for vintage items. Everything she collected for the shoot was all preloved goodies which makes it extra special. I cannot wait for their upcoming wedding this spring at ABAC’s Georgia Museum of Agriculture.
