What a beautiful St. Augustine engagement session this is! Kaitlin and I talked over every detail of their session for months from location, outfits and their adorable picnic. I helped search for the perfect picnic basket to set the scene high and low and finally we found it! We started their session at The Lightener Museum off of King Street in Downtown St. Augustine. We then finished their session off with a sunset picnic right on the water overlooking the Bridge of Lions.

Kaitlin and Josh just hit 2 years of dating in June. They’re love story all started when Josh got a position at work that Kaitlin wanted. So naturally you make jabs at the cute guy that “stole” the position but in a flirty way of course! Josh had his eyes on Kaitlin long before she even noticed him, and it wasn’t until a year later that they started talking more. They slowly started to fall in love with each other through working together on tasks and projects in the office.

Kaitlin shared with me what she loves most about Josh and that is that he is so go with the flow and easy to get along with. He is always on the same page with her and doesn’t get mad at her for the things that she wants and opinions she shares. Josh also shared what he loves most about Kaitlin and that is she is fearless, outspoken, and always speaks what is on her mind.

As their relationship got stronger and they fell harder Josh started planning the perfect way to pop the question to Kaitlin. He set up candles, laid flowers, hung pictures. He even had a photographer waiting to capture the moment in time where she said yes. They played it off by telling her to grab something off the back patio and there he was waiting. She of course said yes and so the wedding planning began.

Kaitlin and Josh have set the big day for February 26, 2022, at Gainey Pines wedding venue in Bryceville, Florida. I cannot wait for these two to get married and I am grateful that I get to share their day with them! Enjoy photos from their St. Augustine engagement session below.
