Washington Oaks Gardens is one of my favorite places to shoot at. This park has beautiful gardens and a unique beach with tons of rocks. All of this beauty creates pure magic for my camera!

When I started talking with Allyson about her engagement session plans, she knew immediately that this was the perfect place. She had never been to Washington Oaks Gardens before, but trusted my opinion! Once we got there, we made sure to take pictures in all of the prettiest spots. We spent lots of time getting to know each other, talking about their wedding plans and life after the big day. Little did I know they had a huge secret. They were moving to Colorado!

Ally and Daniel met right out of high school when one of their mutual friends set them up on a blind date to have dinner at Cracker Barrel. She ordered not one, not two, but THREE sides of macaroni and cheese! These two love birds shared with me that they talked for hours on that blind date. After, they stayed friends and occasionally talked while Ally moved off to college. Two and a half years later, Ally came home and her and Daniel reconnected. They said that Ally came over to Daniel’s for dinner a couple of nights and then she just never went home after that! On April 3, 2019 their relationship was finally official!

A little over a year went by and on August 9, 2020 they spent the day in downtown St. Augustine. They enjoyed walking around exploring, shopping, lunch, and a wine tour. While they were visiting the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument a gentlemen offered to take their picture and Daniel used it to his advantage and got down on one knee.

Fast forward, on October 9, 2021 at Nocatee Crosswater Hall the two sealed their forever love! It was a blast not only capturing their beautiful engagement photos, but also their wedding.
